Hey i thought we could all share any experiences on holidays we've had! so whats the best holiday you've had?

ive only been abroad twice - once to Paris, and once to New York.
and we go on a family holiday to devon every year

Woah! Laura! your traveling sounds fun! mine are just road trips to cali, idaho and vegas:D
We have yearly trips to Lake Powell, we have a house boat down there and just chill on it for about a week or so. We also drive up to Idaho and take a fourwheeling trip. This last one only lasted about a day we were gone for about 20 hours, but it was the most grueling four wheeling trip anyone i know has been on. We went up the face of a mountain and then down the other side that was shale rock. My little cousin almost flew off a cliff, my dad broke his ankle, my sister got dehydrated, my aunt rolled hers down a hill ripping some tendons and I witnessed my (8 yr old)cousin flipping her motorcycle and almost flying off a cliff...and then continued to pee my pants! but i have to say i would do it again in a heartbeat, minus bringing the kids and peeing my pants.

I would have to say best one would have been this last year when I went to Vegas with four of my best friends, and saw the Spice Girls-my favorite band EVER! It only lasted 3 days. But those were probably some of the best three days of my life.

Another trip that has been a great one was when I went with a family that I was nannying for to Nuevo/Puerta Vallerta, Mexico. I went pairasailing, and ate the most amazing food ever! Plus our Hotel was amazing! The only downside to that trip was I past out in the Ocean and almost drowned, from getting stung by a swarm of poisenius jellyfish. lol luckily that was our last day there.

Anyways I love to travel <3
I’ve only been to different places in Europe. I’ve been to Cyprus 3 times – I love it there! And I’ve driven with my family from Norway to France twice, which means we visited and stayed a lot of places along the way. – Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Austria, Monaco, Switzerland, Italy & Spain. I’ve been to most of those countries several times. And in total I’ve been to France 6 Summers in a row. This summer will be the 7th. I’ve of course been many times in Sweden since it’s our neighbour country and I’ve been to the Canary Islands 5 times and once in Poland with my class. I’ve also been to London.

Although I love France and it’s like my second home, and all the other holidays I’ve had abroad have been amazing, I’ve still had my best holidays in Norway. There’s this place called “Hvaler”, 1 hour drive from where I live and IMO it’s the best place in the world hehe I’ve been there a week every summer with my family for as long as I can remember. And I just love it there<3 We just hang at this diner down by the docks with friends and family in the afternoon. During the day we’re usually cruising around on a boat. And at night we go to a cabin in the woods, which is, own by someone we always visit in the summer cause they live in Singapore and only come home in the summertime. It’s pretty much the same every summer but I love it <3

aww well that sounds soo fun cath! I want to visit Europe soo bad!

but of course.. haha my best trip EVER was going to Wilmington.. and I'll post the story later.. its kinda long.

Aw Petra and Cathrine they sound awesome!!! i want to go to Vegas! lol, and the Canary islands, my brother went there last year!
And Melissa i dont need to tell you how jealous iam about Wilmington, you already know! lol..

Anyway New York, was amazing, i went with my sister and we went for a week, it was so sureal, felt like walking through a movie!, we done all the normal tourist things, like statue of liberty, empire state etc.., and we went in November during thanksgiving, so we got to watch the Macy's Parade! i loved it!

Wow, I'd love to go to New York!

I've travelled quite a bit. Greece, Spain, Tunisia, France, Majorca, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland.

Best hol would have to be a girly holiday to Tenerife - sun seas sand, loadsa cocktails! Was just so much fun!
